Our Corporate Social Responsibility

At the inception of the News of the People, an arm with a special mission was also established in line with our resolve to give back to the society for their support towards the successful launch of the magazine. 

Named News of the People Star Relief, the project is designed to assist communities lacking those essential things that make life a little meaningful. Different communities are expected to gain from this gesture and we decided to start with the village of Edu in Ogun State. We plan to construct a five-classroom block for this community this year to help foster the educational aspiration of its youths. This is primarily borne out of the fact that the only primary school in the village, Salvation Army Primary School, has suffered serious neglect while pupils in the school are exposed to danger that may result from collapse of their dilapidated building..
